Summary: Sergeant is saying that he and his group had never said hello or goodbye until Macbeth had saved us from battle.

Act 1, Scene 3- The 3 witches

Summary: It's really just the witches casting the curse on the sailor together. Not much going on here.


We still have judgment here; that we but teach
Bloody instructions, which, being taught, return
To plague the inventor: this even-handed justice
Commends the ingredients of our poison'd chalice
To our own lips.

Act 1, Scene 6- Macbeth

Summary- Macbeth is trying to decide whether or not to kill King Duncan, and the mentioning of even-handed justice it's showing him deliberating on whether justice will be on his side, but justice is fair and even, so no go there...
