These are the words from Beowulf that I didn't know and have decided to put definitions for. I feel that these words aren't normally used; you don't hear people saying that they're heading to the fen now do you? So I chose the words, I think, were pretty obscure... Not much else to say.
Balm-something that makes you feel calm and relaxed
Torques-A cervical ring of hair or feathers, distinguished by its color or structure; a collar
Renege- to decide not to do something that you promised to do
Fen- an area of wet flat land
Wassail-an old word meaning to “celebrate."
Bothies- A small and simple house with one or two rooms
Wallstead- Since I couldn't find a definition for this word I had to figure this one out, because hey I got curious. I found that the old meaning of "stead" is "place" so "Homestead" means "home place" so I'm guessing "wallstead" means "wall place", so maybe it’s a niche or something…
Moors- a large area of high land covered with grass, bushes, and heather, with soil that is not good for growing crops.
Pagan- A person who doesn't acknowledge your god
Heathenish- not acknowledging the god of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam
